Borders ... sigh

I was scheduled for a gallery show at Borders on Douglas in Roseville, CA in September... alas, with the stores closing, that is not happening.
I have had three shows there, and very much enjoyed it. But I am devastated by the doors closing on my favorite hang out; so much so that I can barely talk about it. It's my home away from home, A place to explore and discover new books and art. To keep up on what's being published, especially in the Children's book market. How will the publishing world be affected by this? Authors?
Not to mention my social life. So many memories and good times. Writing in the cafe.
